Apparently "Rice" is a common word used in blogspot addresses...

I recently updated my xanga (plug: www.xanga.com/kimpossible808); I wanted to switch back to my very first xanga: SweetRice808, but thought that no one would read it since it's been dormant for so many years.  Then I thought, 'Matty & Daniel blog on blogspot, maybe I should check it out,' and ultimately decided to give it a try.  Here I am! 

Now, creating a URL was tough, naturally I went for sweetrice but no, that was taken so my second xanga name was wildrice, again, no bueno.  I didn't want kimpossible (which was also taken) not sure, maybe it's a phase or maybe I'm growing out of the egocentric (also, former popular disney show) blog name.... It was time to get creative because I didn't want to just tag on "808" at the end of my name, solomish & electricplexus are such cool names, simple, & unique; I feel like people won't confuse them with anyone, I wanted that too.  Ok, rainbowninja- taken, rainbowrice- taken, riceninja- taken, of course all the while I'm wasting time to look at these blogs like, who the heck names their blogs these things?!

SurfShine808 has been my newest user name for iPhone games, YouTube, Instagram, and whatever "new thing" I've had to register for in the past few years, AND surfshine wasn't taken, my only hesitation to claim this was that I didn't want people to have a preconceived notion that my blog would be a "surf" blog or from a "surfer's" point of view because as much as I love surfing, life is so much more than that.
